What is microdermabrasion?

The SkinBase™ microdermabrasion machine uses a jet of ultra-fine aluminium oxide crystals to exfoliate the skin. The crystal works as an intense yet gentle abrasive to remove dead skin cells. Vacuum action hygienically removes these dead cells while stimulating blood flow to the area. This combination action stimulates the production of collagen and elastin resulting in firmer, more youthful looking skin. Your clients will see results from the very first treatment.

The SkinBase™ Facial is progressive rather than aggressive, so skin layers are gently removed over a course of treatments. With treatments ideally being carried out every 7 – 10 days, each treatment can be increased in intensity. This will make sure the microdermabrasion exfoliation reaches deeper layers of the skin and allows for acne scarring to be removed, pigmentation lifted and fine lines smoothed. Whoever you are, The SkinBase™ Facial will help you to attain smoother, youthful looking skin.*

*Please note that we regret that microdermabrasion cannot help clients with the vitiligo disorder.
